Need help with ChaiFlicks?

GETTING STARTED & SIGNING UP FOR AN ACCOUNT

 

Signing up for ChaiFlicks is as easy as 1-2-3! Please see below for detailed instructions on how you can get started today! Keep in mind, you only need to sign up for an account once.

 

ON YOUR ONLINE INTERNET BROWSER:

 

  1. On your computer or phone, open your browser of choice and head to www.chaiflicks.com

  2. In the upper righthand corner, select “START FREE TRIAL” and you will be directed to the check out page.

  3. Enter your email address and preferred password as well as payment details.

    1. You can choose to pay in two ways: either $66 annually or $5.99 monthly. You will not be charged until 14-days after your initial sign-up

    2. Upon signing up, a $1 authorization charge will be placed on your card. By starting the free trial, you authorize us to charge your credit or debit card, agree to our Terms of Service, Cookies Policy, & Privacy Policy, and represent that you are at least 16 years of age. Charges on your card will appear as OTT* CHAIFLICKS.

  4. Click BROWSE at the top and start watching your favorite Jewish-themed content!

LOGGING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT AND WATCHING ON DEVICES

In order to stream the best of Jewish entertainment via ChaiFlicks, you must be logged into your account. If you do not have a ChaiFlicks account, please see SECTION 1. Below are a list of steps to help you log into your existing account on all of your devices!

 

ON YOUR ONLINE INTERNET BROWSER:

 

  1. Open your browser of choice and head to www.chaiflicks.com

  2. In the upper righthand corner, select “Sign In”

  3. Enter the email address used to create your ChaiFlicks account, then click “Next”

  4. Enter the password used to create your ChaiFlicks account, then click “Sign in”

    1. If you do not remember your ChaiFlicks password, feel free to click “Reset your password.” An email will be sent prompting you to create a new password

    2. You may be also sent a sign-in link, simply by clicking on the “Email me a sign in link” button. A link will be sent to the email associated with your ChaiFlicks account. Clicking on the link (which expires after 2 hours) will automatically log you into your account

  5. Click BROWSE at the top and start watching your favorite Jewish-themed content!

 

APPLE iOS (IPad and iPhone):

 

  1. Open the APP STORE application and search for “CHAIFLICKS”

  2. The ChaiFlicks app should appear in your results. Press “DOWNLOAD” to begin installing the app

  3. After downloading the ChaiFlicks app from the App Store, open the app and press the “LOG IN” button

  4. Press the “Log in” button, enter your email associated with your ChaiFlicks account, then select ‘NEXT”

  5. Enter the email address used to create your ChaiFlicks account, then click “Next”

  6. Enter the password used to create your ChaiFlicks account, then click “Sign in”

    1. If you do not remember your ChaiFlicks password, feel free to click “Reset your password.” An email will be sent prompting you to create a new password

    2. You may be also sent a sign-in link, simply by clicking on the “Email me a sign in link” button. A link will be sent to the email associated with your ChaiFlicks account. Clicking on the link (which expires after 2 hours) will automatically log you into your account

    3. You may also click “Show password” button to see what you have typed

  7. Click BROWSE at the top and start watching your favorite Jewish-themed content!

AMAZON FIRE TV: 

 

  1. After turning on your Amazon Fire TV, open the FIRE TV APPS MENU

  2. Using the magnifying glass icon, search for “CHAIFLICKS”

  3. The ChaiFlicks app should appear in your results. Tap the “INSTALL” icon to begin installing ChaiFLicks

  4. After downloading the ChaiFlicks app from the Fire TV Store, open the app and press the “LOG IN” button

  5. An ACTIVATION CODE will appear on screen. On your DESKTOP COMPUTER or MOBILE DEVICE go to the link displayed on screen, and enter in the activation code to automatically log-in on your Roku

  6. Click BROWSE at the top and start watching your favorite Jewish-themed content!

ROKU:

 

  1. After turning on your ROKU, scroll to the left on the main menu so you see the list of options

  2. Scroll down to ”STREAMING CHANNELS” press “OK”

  3. In “Streaming channels,” scroll down to “SEARCH CHANNELS” and search for ChaiFlicks “ADD CHANNEL”

  4. Select “ADD CHANNEL”

  5. Enter the ChaiFlicks channel and select “LOG IN”

  6. An ACTIVATION CODE WILL APPEAR ON YOUR SCREEN. On your COMPUTER or MOBILE DEVICE go to the link displayed on screen, and enter in the activation code to automatically log-in on your Roku

    1. Alternatively, you may manually enter in your email address and password

  7. Click BROWSE at the top and start watching your favorite Jewish-themed content!

 

APPLE TV BOX:

 

  1. On your third or fourth generation Apple TV box, open the APPLE TV APP STORE  and search for “CHAIFLICKS”

  2. The ChaiFlicks app should appear in your results. Press “DOWNLOAD” to begin installing the app

  3. After downloading the ChaiFlicks Apple TV App, open the application and select “LOG IN”

  4. An ACTIVATION CODE will appear on screen. On your computer or mobile device go to the link displayed on screen, and enter in the activation code to automatically log-in on your Roku

  5. Click BROWSE at the top and start watching your favorite Jewish-themed content!

 

ANDROID:

 

  1. Open the GOOGLE PLAY STORE and search for “CHAIFLICKS”

  2. The ChaiFlicks app should appear in your results. TAP the ChaiFlicks icon to begin installing the app

  3. After downloading the ChaiFlicks app from the Google Play Store, OPEN the app and press the “LOG IN” button

  4. Press the “Log in” button, enter your email associated with your ChaiFlicks account, then select “Next”

  5. Enter the email address used to create your ChaiFlicks account, then click “Next”

  6. Enter the password used to create your ChaiFlicks account, then click “Sign in”

NAVIGATING CHAIFLICKS

​

There are many ways to find what you are looking for in the ChaiFlicks Application. Here are a few ways to find the perfect entertainment for your viewing pleasure:

 

Searching for your favorite program:

Have an itch for something that you have seen before? Maybe something a friend, family member, review, or complete stranger recommended to you? Searching has never been easier on ChaiFlicks! On all of your devices, there should be a button labeled ”SEARCH.” Clicking on this icon will allow you to find whatever you are looking for.

 

Finding something new to watch:

Need something to watch, but you have no preference? ChaiFlicks also has a Browse feature, which groups programs into various categories. This feature is automatically displayed on the home-page of ChaiFlicks and often includes various categories, such as “New to ChaiFlicks,” “Comedy,” “Drama,” “Documentaries,” etc. The Browse section also features many more programs than what is initially shown, so make sure to either scroll or swipe right on the categories to see everything ChaiFlicks has to offer!

 

Picking up where you left off:

In the case that you have to run in the middle of watching a program, feel free to simply close the browser or application. ChaiFlicks will remember exactly where you left off next time you Log in! You may even begin watching your program on one device, and finish it on another!

 

Saving a program for later:

If you find a program that you might enjoy, but do not have time to watch at the moment, ChaiFlicks allows you to save the title for later by using the “Add to library” button. From then on, the title in question will be located in your own personal library, just a click or tap away!
