Holocaust Survivor Speaks at "La Rafle" Screening in South Florida
Rosette Goldstein, a Holocaust survivor who was only 5 years old when French police rounded-up her father and sent him to Buchenwald death camp in 1942, will answer questions posed by audiences on March 15 after the 4:00pm showing of the movie La Rafle (The Roundup) at Movies of Delray in Delray Beach, Florida. In addition, Goldstein will intro the 7:00pm showing at the same venue which is located at 7421 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach (phone: 561-638-0020).

Goldstein, now 73 and a resident of Boca Raton, managed to survive the Roundup along with her mother. "The film is absolute truth," said Goldstein, who watched LA RAFLE (or The Roundup) this past November during a Boca Raton fundraiser for the Holocaust organization March of the Living. "They arrested all the Jews on the outskirts of Paris and brought them to the Velodrome d'Hiver. There were many French who were for the deportation of Jews. It was a bad time – very, very bad (taken from a story by Phillip Valys, Sun-Sentinel).
