Synopsis:

Marcelo Piñeyro's emotional drama Kamchatka is set in Argentina just after the 1976 revolution. A lawyer takes his wife and children to the country after the coup, and they adopt new identities. The story, told through the eyes of a young boy obsessed with the escape artist Harry Houdini, shows that the bonds of love and family can withstand the terrors of politics.
