"The Zigzag Kid" - Coming to Theaters

"Delightful and heartfelt."
Ty Burr, The Boston Globe

Thirteen-year old Nono is the son of the world's greatest police inspector, trained since birth in the art of sleuthing. So when a train trip to his boring Uncle Shmuel morphs into a rollicking mystery-solving adventure, Nono couldn't be more thrilled. Joining with his father's arch-nemesis, the notorious criminal Felix Glick, he travels to the French Riviera, entering a world of disguises and crazy pursuits, and crossing paths with the famous singer Lola Ciperola (played by Isabella Rossellini) and Zohara, a mysterious woman whose secrets will forever change Nono's life.

Based on the acclaimed novel by David Grossman, The Zigzag Kid is a whimsical, sharply written and wonderfully entertaining film – a sure-fire crowd pleaser that uses humor to explore the most fundamental questions of good and evil to speak to adults and teenagers alike.

Starts April 25th in Boston, MA - West Newton Cinema

Los Angeles Times Critic's Pick
One of the Best Films of the Year!
★★★★ "Gripping, excellent. A bombshell disguised as a thriller."

- Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times

A tense and gripping thriller inspired by actual events, Aftermath caused controversy in its native Poland due to its present-day reckoning with a dark period in that country's history. The film won the Yad Vashem Chairman's Award at this year's Jerusalem Film Festival, and is now playing in U.S. theaters!

LA Times Critic's Pick 'The Rape of Europa' Returns to Theaters

Discover the incredible true story of The Monuments Men in The Rape of Europa, named Critic's Pick of the Week by Los Angeles Times film critic Kenneth Turan! He says:

"If George Clooney's "The Monuments Men" did nothing else, it made possible the theatrical re-release of "The Rape of Europa," a splendid documentary that shows the true story behind the Nazi theft of European art and interviews some of the real-life Monuments Men who got it back. The film is packed with information and also tells a series of wonderful truth-is-stranger-than-fiction tales. "The Rape of Europa" even details the postwar fights about who owns which paintings that culminated in the sale of Gustav Klimt's gold portrait for a record $135 million. This documentary paints a picture that is vivid and timely."

The Rape of Europa is returning to select theaters nationwide!

Screens April 19th in Springfield, MO - Moxie Cinema
